 Dancing Footballs Stars tackle the British Par 3 Championship  Manchester United football legends, Peter Schmeichel and Lee Sharpe were taking up a fresh challenge after their appearances on hit TV shows 'Strictly Come Dancing' and 'Dancing On Ice' by testing their short game golfing skills at the Number Bristish Par 3 Championship at Nailcote Hall between 7th-10th August 2007. Former Manchester United and Danish goal keeping legend Peter Schmichel was teaming up with the Midlands' professional Richard O'Hanlon in the Pro-Am Championship on the 7th & 8th August. They were looking forward to playing alongside a number of European Tour stars including 2007 French Open Champion Graeme Storm, David Lynn, Tom Whitehouse, Robert Rock, last year's Britishs Par 3 Championship Shaun P Webster and many more. Former Manchester United and England player Lee Sharpe was one of the celebrities who was participating in the Numark Celebrity-Amateur golf days on the 9th & 10th August. Seeing that his golfing talent reflected his skills on the pitch he has competed alongside fellow celebrities including Willie Thorne, Peter Shilton, William Roache, Alan Mullery, Kris Akabusi and many more.
